Twitter Suspends Rose McGowan's Twitter Account
Twitter has suspended Rose McGowan's Twitter account following the actress' comments supporting victims of Harvey Weinstein's. McGowan shared on her Instagram account Wednesday night that she had been removed from the social media platform, writing: "There are powerful forces at work. Be my voice." Jessica Chastain and Anthony Bourdain, along with many others, have questioned Twitter's action. The New York Times reported last week that McGowan was among the numerous women sexually harassed by Weinstein. The former movie producer paid McGowan a financial settlement in 1997, including provisions about speaking about the case in the future.
